Doug Naidus As CEO and founder of World Business Lenders (WBL), Doug Naidus has spent more than 25 years in the financial services industry. An entrepreneur in his own right, he’s been focused on the development, structuring, trading, hedging and distribution of financial products on the retail and secondary markets. Through his vision, he made World Business Lenders into one of the top privately owned and funded lending institutions in the field. From his headquarters in New York City, he is committed to establishing mutually beneficial relationships with a variety of business partners. Before he started WBL, he was the managing director and global head of residential lending and trading at Deutsche Bank, where he successfully executed and managed business activities on five continents. Naidus did high-profile transactions in the United States, Colombia and Saudi Arabia. Before taking on that role, he served as the chairman and CEO of MortgageIT, which he founded in 1999. He took that company through a successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange, placing it among the 10 largest mortgage banks in the United States, before selling it to Deutsche Bank in 2007. He also founded and served as the chairman and CEO of IPI Skyscraper, which became one of the largest mortgage brokers in the Northeast before its private sale. Throughout his career, Naidus has been dedicated to serving the small business community, ensuring that this vital sector of the country’s economy gets the working capital it needs to succeed.
